My name is Laurel Ugenti and I am your new Avon independent sales representative. I am thirty years old and have a ten month old daughter named Bethany Gail, who's picture is posted here. She is a natural beauty if I do say so myself :).
If you would, please take a moment to let your mind travel back to a simpler time. A time when people cared about people and neighbors had the time to stop and say hello. Being born in the late seventies and growing up in the suburbs, even I can remember a time like this. I hope that you can too. It seems that the world gets faster as time marches on...that is why it is so very important that we take a moment to stop and remember that no matter how fast people move, time keeps the same pace.
That is where Avon comes in...
I remember my first tube of lip-gloss. It was a shiny pink and smelled like Vaseline and cherries. I felt so fabulous smearing it all over my lips. I remember picking it out from the Avon catalogue and feeling so grown up when my mother purchased it for me to try. Years later, I remember watching my mother get ready for work, fussing with creams, lotions, foundations and other makeup that she purchased from the Avon catalogue. I remember my proclamation that I would never wear makeup and get involved with all of that primping. And I remember my mother looking at me with honesty and stating 'I hope you never have to' - a statement that I did not fully understand until I discovered my first wrinkle. My mother has since passed on, but these memories have stayed with me for a lifetime...memories of Avon...memories of bonding...and, most importantly, memories of a simpler time.
Now if you would, fast forward to the present where the world is all about keeping pace. You want to be on top of the trends, look fabulous, shop quickly and get support when needed. I buy my anti-wrinkle remedies and presents for my niece without having to go anywhere else - physically or virtually. Sweepstakes begins August 13, 2008 and ends August 25, 2008.
1. ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the U.S. who are 18 years
of age or older at time of registration. Employees, and/or immediate family members of Vito Ugenti, Avon Independent Sales Representative are not eligible. Void in Puerto Rico and prohibited where restricted by law.
2. TO ENTER: To enter the "Avon Independent Sales Representative, "U by Ungaro Sweepstakes"
(1) Register your information on the website, www.YourAvon.com/Vugenti, beginning on/about 12:01 AM EST August 13, 2008 and ending on August 25, 2008, 11:59 AM EST. Registration must be complete and accurate and include the registrants name, address, email address and telephone number. By registering, the party agrees to receive email notifications and special offers from Vito (or Laurel) Ugenti, Avon Independent Sales Representative. Entrant may be able to opt out of these emails upon receipt of their first message. All prior registrants on the website are automatically entered into the Sweepstakes and do not need to re-register.
(2) Enter by mail by completing a 3"x5" card with your name, age, address, date of birth and daytime telephone number and mail to Avon Independent Sales Representative 124 Hawthorne Ave. Ronkonkoma, NY 11779. All mail in entries must be received by August 11, 2008.

All entries received after the end date of this Sweepstakes will become void.

4. WINNER SELECTION: Winners will be selected on or about August 25, 2008 in a random drawing from all eligible email and mail in entries. The random Drawing will be conducted by Vito / Laurel Ugenti, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this sweepstakes. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
5. GENERAL RULES: Each entrant must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all such terms and conditions. No cash value or other substitution of prizes allowed, except at the discretion of the Sponsor.
